Key botanical actives:
Butterfly Pea: A super antioxidant botanical is grown in South East Asia. Known for its blue hue, which reflects its rich anthocyanin content. Anthocyanins are known for their ability to combat free radical damage and prevent oxidative damage,
Butterfly Pea Tea has traditionally been consumers to improve the vitality and is known for its anti-glycation properties.
Blueberry Leaf: Rich in antioxidants polyphenols and flavonoids that have been known to increase blood circulation and also protect against oxidative damage.
Gymnema: Has a long history of use in Indian Ayurvedic medicine. The Hindi name “gurmar” means “destroyer of sugar. When the leaves a chewed the plant destroys the body’s ability to identify sweet taste, the reason for its name.
Cinnamon: A great protector of the body from free radical damage due to its high concentration of antioxidants. Cinnamon does have many fantastic properties and they all stem from one substance called cinnamaldehyde, naturally present in the spice. It has many antifungal and antibacterial properties that make it a great addition to tea and your diet.
During the brewing process a small squeeze of lemon juice will turn the tea into a vivid blue colour.
