Moisturisation, it is such an important part of any skin regime.

As we are all well aware, we all have varying skin types. Some have dry skin, some have oily skin and some have combination skin!

Given that we all vary, it’s important that we use the right level of moisture for our skin. For those with oily or acne prone skin we know that you are quite fearful of using a moisturising cream. Those who have acne, the dryness will make your acne worse.

Acne will occur due to an overproduction of sebum in the oil glands. It is important to find a product that will help reduce sebum production, clear congestion, control lipid oxidation and soothe irritated skin.

We recommend the Ultra Hydrating Lotion by ULTRACEUTICALS $76

This lightweight lotion has been specifically designed for oilier skin, available at our Bondi Beach clinic or via phone order.

Avoiding the use of an appropriate moisturiser can often lead to the development of wrinkles or make the existing fine lines and wrinkles worse in appearance.

The options for creams are really endless, you really need to know what your skin needs and that is difficult to tell by simply looking at your skin in the mirror.

For those who have dry skin we highly recommend the Dr Spiller, Collagen cream, read about this luxurious cream HERE

If you have normal to oily skin a great option would be the Dr Spiller, Royal Jelly cream, read more HERE
Some often find that this cream is a little too light for the cooler months and move to the Dr Spiller, Propolis Cream Day and  Dr Spiller, Propolis Cream Night $80

The Dr Spiller, Propolis Cream is available is a day and night option.

The Day cream contains the following key ingredients:

Propolis, an antibacterial bee resin, rich in minerals, vitamins, plant resins, plant waxes enzymes and essential oils.

Royal Jelly, is also an antibacterial bee secretion that is rich in bimimetic water, protein, fatty acids, vitamins B5, B6 and C, trace minerals and enzymes. This ingredient is highly effective in rebalancing and protecting the moisture levels of the skin.

Vitamin E, a skin-identical potent antioxidant naturally secreted by the sebaceous gland for environmental moisture.

Lanolin and octyl methoxycinnamate, are both non-irritating sunscreens that protect against UVB.

Avocado, grapeseed and sunflower oils, are protective botanical oils rich in biomimetic triglycerides, fatty acids, lecithin, wax esters, squalene, vitamins D, E and K.

The Dr Spiller, Propolis, Night cream contains many of the same ingredients as the day omitting the sun protective ingredients. The cream does include the addition of:

Retinyl Palmitate, a derivative of vitamin A and it assists in renewing the appearance of the skin. It also works as an effective antioxidant that boosts the activity of vitamins C and E.

Vitamin C, a potent antioxidant that nurtures natural collagen synthesis for a suppler appearance.
