Treatment Overview
Skin Needling topically stimulates the skin via gentle surface needling; this process creates tiny vertical penetrations in the skin which then acts as channels for deeper infusion of hydrating and skin stimulating ingredients. Skin Needling also acts as an effective skin resurfacing treatment and collagen induction therapy.
Skin is sterilised before the Dermapen is rolled across the skin. It’s not heat based and uses very fine needles to promote skin rejuvenation and collagen production via a gentle vibrational sweep. An entire full face session takes under 1 hour to complete.
The Skin Needling has amazingly effective results for acne scarring and is appropriate for any skin colour and skin type.
These treatments can be performed on all skin types and concerns. There are 5 different peels and 36 different combinations to have. Your therapist will choose which peel is best suited for your skin and your needs.

The Lowdown
What to Expect
During the microneedling procedure, your skin may become red and tight, creating the sensation that you have been sunburned. Expect fresh, more beautiful skin within six weeks with improvements over the next 6-12 months.
Immediate inflammatory reactions fade within 24 hours and are further eased with the use of topically healing minerals and vitamins – your therapist will guide you through an array of after care options.
Before the Treatment
Not suitable for anyone who is taking prescription acne or photosensitising medication such as Accutane, Doxycycline etc.
After the Treatment
Following your Skin Needling treatment, you can expect some redness and slight swelling around the areas that have been treated. Your skin may feel warm to touch, like a mild sunburn sensation. This should last no longer than a day or two.
Avoid sun exposure. Your skin will be much more sensitive to the sun for several weeks after your Skin Needling treatment. To prevent adverse effects, you must stay out of the sun at all times.
Do not apply any AHA’s, retinol, acids or active ingredients up to 5 days after your dermapen treatment. Post treatment products will be recommended per each individual need.
