Forehead lines
Forehead line treatment is one of the most popular anti-wrinkle procedures at Face Plus Medipsa. Forehead lines are treated using anti-wrinkle injections. These injections are placed into the forehead muscle (known as the frontalis) to reduce the appearance of fine lines. The muscle will take on a relaxed state, which in turn smooths the skin. The amount of injections needed depends on how much movement you have in the forehead, the depth of the lines and the width of the forehead.
Frown Lines
Frown lines or otherwise known as the lines ’11’ are the lines which form in between the eyebrows. This muscle is known as the glabellar complex. It is normal to have these lines while frowning but some people have developed these lines at rest. Most people feel the frown lines make them look angry. Frown lines are treated by injecting small amounts of anti-wrinkle product into the frown area which relaxes the muscles and prevents you from frowning. Sometimes it takes more than one treatment to fully reduce the appearance of the frown lines.
Brow Lift
By using anti-wrinkle injections, it is possible to relax certain muscles around the eyes to help create an overall lift in the eyebrows. There are certain muscles that hold the eyebrows down, especially the muscles surrounding the eye, known as the orbilucalis oculi. With careful placement of anti-wrinkle injections into these muscles, the eyebrows are released from this downward pull, and the forehead muscles are left to lift the eyebrows up. This usually leads to an extra few millimetres in height.
Crows Feet
Crows feet is the name given to the fine lines around the eyes. These are also known as the lateral canthal lines. Crows feet are treated by injecting small amounts of anti-wrinkle into the area on the sides of your eyes (the orbicularis oculi) which reduces the ability of the muscle to contract, thereby smoothing out the lines.
Bunny Lines
“Bunny lines” refer to the fine lines that appear diagonally on both side of your nose. They come from squinting your eyes and scrunching your nose- like a bunny would do. Like many types of facial wrinkles, bunny lines are caused by repeating certain facial expressions. These fines lines are treated with a couple of small injections of anti-wrinkle on both sides of the bridge of the nose. This will relax these muscles and result in smooth skin over the bridge of the nose.

There are a number of ways to treat upper lip lines. Anti-wrinkle injections can be used to soften these lines. The way to treat is by injecting a small amount of anti-wrinkle into the upper lip (orbicularis oris muscle). It’s normally treated with 4 small injections across the upper lip. This in turn relaxes the muscle around your upper lip, which makes your lip “flip” upward a tiny bit and appears larger than normal. The lip flip is a popular procedure that makes your lips look fuller without increasing the volume of your lips.

The muscles that turn down the corners of the mouth are called the DAO (Depressor Anguilla Oris). When you inject anti-wrinkle into the DAO muscles, it relaxes the areas, in turn ceasing to pull your mouth downwards. You will be able to start seeing results in 3-4 days and full affects in 2 weeks time.
Gummy Smile

Gum show can be excessive if your upper lip moves too high when you smile. The levator labii superioris alaeque nasi muscle connects the middle corner of the eye to the upper lip and works to lift the upper lip and enables you to snarl. Small amounts of anti-wrinkle injections can be placed into this muscle to reduce gum show. This treatment is relatively quick and non-invasive.
