The Lowdown
What to Expect
The compounded and regenerating dried, crushed herbs are applied and massaged directly onto your skin to produce revitalised, softer, smoother and beautifully firmer skin. Pores are significantly reduced and congestion is removed. Your skin will look clear, clean and hydrated.
A prickling sensation is felt during and after the treatment. You can expect to be a little red after the treatment and sometimes swollen. Mild shedding and flaking can be expected up to one week after the peel. Allow to have this facial one week before any big events.
Before the Treatment
Not suitable for anyone who is taking prescription acne or photosensitising medication such as Accutane, Doxycycline etc.
If you are taking antibiotics please ask your therapist for advice on when you can have this treatment.
After the Treatment
Avoid direct sun exposure. excessive exercise, saunas and heat for 48-72 hours after the treatment. Apply SPF daily.
