The Lowdown
What to Expect
Depending on the type of peel that your therapist chooses for you will determine how the facial is going to feel. Everything will be explained thoroughly before your treatment. You may experience some mild tingling and some heat sensation.
This facial includes a re-freshing and cooling alginate mask to leave the skin feeling super hydrated and calm.
Before the Treatment
Not suitable for anyone who is taking prescription acne or photosensitising medication such as Accutane, Doxycycline etc.
After the Treatment
After PDP your skin will be temporarily more sensitive to sunlight. It is very important to remember to wear sunscreen every day, even if it is cloudy or overcast. A broad spectrum sunscreen will protect you against both the sun’s UVA and UVB rays.
