Treatment Overview
Any facial can incorporate this specialised peeling treatment, it’s the perfect ‘mild’ beginners’ treatment to remove the stratum corneum surface of the skin which whilst leaving the complexion smooth, hydrated and glowing. Ideally performed monthly to balance with your skin’s renewal process, it softens skin which enables easier absorption and therefore maximum benefit for skin care products. Ground spelt and natural kaolin enzymes are key ingredients used which suit all skin types and sensitivities.
Enzymes are a safe and effective natural way to facilitate exfoliation, help overall biological processes in the skin that have slowed down because of age or sun damage and to inhibit free-radical damage.
Enzymes accelerate biochemical reactions in a cell that would proceed minimally or not at all if the enzymes were not present.
This deep yet gentle exfoliation is suitable for even the most sensitive skins. An enzyme treatment is also ideal before a laser treatment as it complements the skin renewal process.

While this treatment does not require special consideration it is advised to inform the therapist if you are taking prescriptive medication.
After the Treatment
There is no downtime associated with this treatment. You can go ahead and do your daily duties. This facial is best to be booked just before an event as it leaves your skin feeling fresh and glowing.
